Procedure writing
We have been learning to writing a procedure. I know a procedure has to have a title, materials and ingredients and steps. My steps have to be easy for some one to read it and follow.

Speech
My speech topic is Kiwis. I chose this topic because it's very important to protect the kiwi.
Here is my speech:
Kiwi are important
Have you ever wondered what New Zealand would be like without the kiwi? Kiwi are flightless birds, they have long legs and beaks. They live nowhere except New Zealand. I believe that kiwi are rare and very important.
Firstly, Kiwi are important because they are only found in NZ. Kiwi are easy prey to introduced animals such as weasels, stoats, rats and possums. The predators eat the eggs and kill the babies.
Next, I believe kiwi are important because kiwi come out at night time. They hunt for bugs in the bush so they can eat them.
Finally, Kiwi are dying from people’s pets like dogs and cats. They catch them at night and kill them. You can train your dog not to hunt kiwi. Keep your cats inside at night.
I believe kiwi are rare and special so we must look after them and protect them from dying. So come on people help the kiwi!
